Aaron Hill -
Aaron is the Founder & the Managing Director of Long White Cloud Genetics. Previously in sole charge of an export meat production facility, Aaron holds the role of the Day to Day Manager of the RMP (Risk Management Programme).The standards for export compliance in an EU listed export meat plant are extremely demanding and has allowed Aaron to transfer his unique skills over to the cannabis industry with his passion for medical cannabis, cannabis genetics, intensive operations and compliance knowledge. After learning the struggle many potential patients must endure to access this medicine, Aaron's vision to start Long White Cloud Genetics was simple. Local production would improve access and affordability for patients, by producing products right here in New Zealand, by New Zealanders.
John Macdonald -
John has an extensive business background and been a long term owner of a successful medical velvet export operation and various other businesses that require vigorously high compliance. John was involved in the deer farming industry when it first started in New Zealand in the 1970's and was deeply involved in breeding/selections of the current deer genetics we have in New Zealand today! John and his business partner Andy will bring a wealth of knowledge to the business that will open into the asia market. John believes this is an industry that aims to help many people.
Hamish Kelland -
Hamish has 35 years experience both in the horticulture industry and teaching at a tertiary level. Hamish will bring a wealth of unique and valuable hands on knowledge into our cultivation facility. Hamish worked for MAF in biosecurity and established horticulture facilities at Thames High before taking up a full time position at CPIT in the nineties also tutoring at Lincoln University in horticultural management and botany. At CPIT Hamish specialised in teaching crop and fruit production, hydroponics, crop protection and agrichemical use and safety to students and industry personnel. Since 2008 he has tutored in organic horticulture at the BHU Organic College, Lincoln University.

Dr Peter Carey -
Peter is a soil scientist of long-standing with an interest in soil fertility and physics, organic production and recently, the use of catch crops to reduce N loss from winter forage grazing, a subject of his PhD (2017). Self-employed in his own business for a number of years he's now turning his hand to the field of medicinal cannabis and is excited to be involved in Long White Cloud Genetics. Using his training in soil science, soil fertility and research, Peter, will bring value to plant breeding of cannabis for high yielding CBD and THC varieties. Peter has written over 30 international and national journal papers in a variety of soil-based topics and is active in the rural media and farmer extension.
David Round -
David Round is a sixth generation South Islander. Currently teaches law at the University of Canterbury with a lifelong love of nature and the outdoors and has long been involved in conservation issues. He is a former national president of Federated Mountain Clubs. He stood for Parliament in 2005 and was almost elected. He has written substantially on Treaty issues. Research interests include the fields of Legal History, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Environmental Law,Natural Resource Law. Particularly issues concerning the treaty and the environment, Legal history & Public law.
